Wagga Wagga Women’s Health Centre present the What Women Experience Art Competition Exhibition at The Curious Rabbit

Over the last 18 months we have seen major changes to our lives and our communities.  Some changes have been welcome, such as the increase in service availability through online health and support services. increased access to arts and culture via virtual tours, technological advances allowing greater flexibility for some work locations and the recognition of social support and mental health.

Some changes, however, have been devastating such as increased isolation, lockdown, financial insecurity and restrictions to our way of life.

The ‘What Women Experience’ project encourages women to reflect on their challenges, opportunities, changes, and inspirations which have been borne out of, what has certainly been, a trying and exhaustive 12 months.  We are inviting women of all ages and all or no previous artistic experience to reflect on what this period of time has meant to them and express that through their chosen art form.
